One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all
And if you go chasing rabbits and you know you're going to fall

The city life was perhaps more dangerous for Zee than it would be for anyone else, considering what she is. Luckily, Sheperds are unable to truly know who is magical and who is not unless they do magic around them. Many would question why someone like Zee was even in the city to begin with, given her reputation if they knew about it. Moving through the streets of the redlight district, Zee's black heeled boots clattered against the stone pathway beneath her as she made her way towards the Rabbit Hole. Having business within the establishment, Zee was prepared for anything as her hair, now as red as fire, was up in two ruffled buns upon each side of her head while her bangs dangled over her hazel eyes that watched the patrons in the establishment as her subtle hand pushed the door open. Delicate steps brought her inside as her elegant, velvet dress ruffled around her legs. Black straps rested upon her shoulders as the dress wrapped around her bosom and a second layer of the dress draped over the velvet fabric. The second part was black with silver buttons and chains crossing over its gap in the front and the overlay was far shorter than the dress itself. Upon her delicate hands were a pair of fingerless, black gloves that hide her scarred palms and her fingernails were as black as a raven's feather. Around her neck dangled a charm necklace that held several components from a simple key to gears and sprockets only to have an ankh dangling at the bottom of the necklace. Her hazel eyes stared through a pair of purple shaded, oblong sunglasses, giving her a very unique look as her black lips curled into a gentle smirk. Any who looked upon her would think she was some sort of imperial mistress as she stalked across the establishment to a specific table.
Already the table had an occupant sitting within and Zee stood at the table as she placed her hands upon the edge and stared at the man sitting there. "What do you want, Dervo. You know I am a busy lady, so you best speak quickly if you don't want to upset me," she stated, keeping her guise intact as she conversed with the gentlemen before her. A devious grin crossed the man's lips as he leaned closer to Zee, "My dear, I have nothing for you as much as I have something for myself," he cooed with delight as he sat back in the booth. Zee perked a brow at the man's words and relaxed actions until she noticed the movement out of the corner of her eye: Sheperds. Instantly her instincts told her to fight, but she knew she shouldn't make such a commotion within a public place unless she wanted to ruin her cover. As the Sheperds approached, the addressed the man, "Are you sure this is the heretic you spoke of, Dervo?" the leader queried and Dervo nodded his head firmly. The Sheperds stared at Zee as she stood straight up and gave a confused look to what was going on. "You believe me to be one of those vile cretins?" she spat, "I am sorry to say this, but I think Dervo has misinformed you just as he had misinformed me. He claimed he had found my daughter, which clearly seems to be a mistake," she paused a moment as she stared at the ground, looking as though she was holding back some tears, "She has been missing for some time and I didn't know who else to turn to. Dervo was the last who had seen her and," she cried as her black lips quivered, "Dervo said she may be with heretics and," she cried a bit more, playing the rouse with expert skill. Looking at the Sheperd leader, she instantly wanted to cut his throat, but instead she lunged her arms around him in a hug as she cried against his shoulder, "I just want my daughter back!" Uncomfortable, the Sheperd slowly pushed Zee off and said his apologizes before he and his team left the Rabbit Hole, not wanting to waste any more time.
With the Sheperds gone, Zee's attention turned towards Dervo who gave a nervous smile as she glared at him, "You made an enemy, my friend. I guess this means I can no longer trust you to do my bidding here. What a shame," she muttered as he tried to plead with Zee, but it was far too late for that. Tilting her head, Zee's left eye twitched as she began to work her magic and twisted the blood in Dervo's body. He lurched forward in pain and Zee screamed, continuing to play to her role, "Someone help my friend!" she exclaimed as Dervo gripped his chest as he felt his blood evade his vital organs. As people began to rush to help him, Zee began to slip out through the rushing crowd as she stepped back wards, a fearful look upon her face. Once she was clear, she let the fearful look leave her face as she pushed out the door of the Rabbit Hole and began to just walk the streets once again, unsure of what she was going to do, but knew she would need a new informant in the city.
